Old School Dinner @ Coliseum Cafe, Kuala Lumpur

Having a date with bestie was such a fantastic thing that you will never realize the time pass so fast. It's extremely fast indeed actually!

Kanix was an extraordinary girl for me, well, in term of gossip and sharing others' story. >.<
We are always in the same tone and hence we laughed loudly at most of the time that we met. And that's the reason we know each other for over 7 years, yet still closed, perhaps? haha

I'm always love to date with her, and here we have our dinner deal again! Just make it nearby at my current working place by attempting to introduce this old school fashion restaurant to her: Coliseum Cafe, which has been recognized as the longest operating western colonial-themed restaurant, and successfully recorded in he Malaysia Book of Records. It established at year 1921, which meant it's already 92 years old! Wow! Such an impressing figure that make me feel like want to taste it more for the food, and of course its' historical environment!

Here are our courses today:

Hainanese Chicken Chop, deep-fried chicken whole leg topped with homemade sauce in mixed vege and mushroom, served with french fries. It tastes a bit weird for me actually, maybe I just barely to accept the sauce. Well, it's a good example to be treated as a fusion meal in the past, where it represented the cleverness and creativeness of Hainanese chefs who worked in western kitchen and applied their cooking skill on local meals.

Sizzling Chicken Chop, served with salad, boiled vege and wedges. Love the gravy so much as it come so well with the grilled chicken chop. It seems like a must-ordered item of the restaurant as almost all of the guests of every table are having one, ever more than one!

Apple and Lime juice, our drink of the day.
