hiking at Bukit Tabur

I love outdoor recreational activities especially in hiking, climbing and cycling, but NOT for jogging cause I have no enough of energy, or so-called breath...=.=

Sometimes, my parents (especially my cutie mum) quite worry of their daughter since I like to climb up and down, and mumbling me from taking of so 'high-risk' activities. In fact, I have 2 scars on my forehead, and one at my eyebrow due to my curiosity and naughtiness when I was a child. And that freaky scare of my mum actually...=.=

Thanks so much to Carlyn and Kevin for introducing such a nice mountain to us~
Bukit Tabur is definitely one of the best mountain that I have hiked before (not to mention that I only hiked for twice before this actually when one at Gunung Lembing, Pahang and the other one was Broga Hill). I love to hike those mountain that have rocks everywhere, where it's quite challenging for me some sort of rock climbing. And Bukit Tabur is my type of favorite~

We reached there at early morning, approximately 7am because it's just the right time for no touch light needed. After we have gathered at Taman Melawati, we headed to Bukit Tabur by one car since there is no spacious or proper parking space at there.

The view and atmosphere at Bukit Tabur are really good. In fact, there are cold fresh wind/air keep on blowing around us so we didn't feel hot although we sweat. In fact, it's really such a refreshing and relaxing place for us to take a break in this frustrating life. *STRONGLY RECOMMEND*

I totally fall for it when we need to climb across several mountain in order to reach the highest spot~
I can be said as extremely fancy in climbing, especially rocks although it is dangerous actually.
*BE CAREFUL as there was several death accidents have been caused at there*

*And don't wear jean and sneaker like me, cause it will limit your action actually* It is totally out of my expectation that I never thought of Bukit Tabur is so challenging.

We took around 2 hours and half in finishing all spots in order to reach the top.
Finally, we have reached the highest point and surprisingly, there are fresh yet sweet watermelon awaiting for us~

Carlyn, me, Kevin and bf are enjoying the sweet watermelon.

Can you imagine that there is someone bring along a big watermelon with knife while hiking such challenging mountain? YES, it is.
And some more, he is not a youngsters like us (erm....=.=), but an uncle around around 50++ years old. *LESSON of the day: Don't ever look own on any uncle. They might be more energetic than you and me* Haha

Thanks to him, we have something fresh yet cold to cure our thirst at that right time.

supper @ Kayu, Cyberjaya

Seems like mamak is the best business to be run in Cyberjaya, the famous Nasi Kandar mamak, Kayu is having its branch open in Cyberjaya recently. It's quite good for us actually where we got another choice to go for supper in mid night. BUT, you know, mamak foods are more or less the same actually, unless it has superb taste above the other, else, it's just the normal mamak in my eyes *FORGIVE me since I not really fancy with mamak food, except roti*

Bf decided to have supper at there since he had a big stomach by mumbling that dinner is not enough for him....=.=.... I just accompanied him to go and didn't order anything as I am still full with the dinner just now.

He has ordered the roti tisu with teh tarik for his supper. Not to mention that the roti tisu comes in superb huge size ever though you didn't highlight that you want a Roti Tisu BESAR actually....=.=

End up I have to help him finished the roti tisu also..=.=
By the way, both of us are not fancy with their roti tisu as it taste really sweet and oily.

Orange Butter Cake @ home

Bf has brought back the orange butter cake which was baked by his mum from hometown. It's taste really delicious and it make my hand itchy again.....wanna bake for it also...^.^

First at all, looks for oranges in fridge first. If there is no, then I think I won't bake it due to my laziness that I won't go out just merely to buy oranges *Thanks God*

Ingredient:
250g Low Protein Flour
2 Oranges - juice and zest
180g Sugar
100g Butter (room temperature)
1 teaspoon of Natrium Soda Powder
1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
1 teaspoon of Tartar Cream
1 teaspoon of Lemon Juice and Zest (optional)
4 Eggs (room temperature)
A bunch of Salt

1) Prepare orange juice and orange zest, as well as for lemon if you have it.
2) Separate all egg yolk and egg white, and set aside. Preheat oven.
3) Mix all the dried ingredient (except for cream of tartar), together with butter, egg yolk, orange juice, and orange zest (or together with lemon juice and zest).
4) Beat the egg white until it become foamy. Add in cream of tartar and the rest of sugar.
5) Gently mix the egg white with (3) by using spatula so that the air inside it will hold the fluffy texture for the cake.

Pasta Zamai @ Mid Valley

It will be 3 days continuing public holiday at this weekend hence we 4 girls decided to give a walk at Mid Valley *BUT, it is the same for me either public holiday or normal working day as I have quit my job recently*

Mother has been saying that she wanna to have a new watch and hence me and sis decided to go for the watch exhibition at Mid Valley. The brand in our mind falls to Orient due to its reasonable price and yet elegant design. I falls for one Orient Watch as well while we are looking for mum's watch, and it definitely will be on my hand in short future as I know....hehe

Back to topic, we have our lunch at Pasta Zanmai at Mid Valley after we have surveyed for the mooncake....=.=

It was my first time to have a meal in Pasta Zanmai where I usually have it at Sushi Zanmai. There are crowed in anywhere, especially restaurant at this lunch time due to public holiday. We have been Q-ing for some times before we have a seat inside.

with Sis, Hui Woon and Sin Boon

                                                                   Grilled Chicken on Rice

Deep-fried Chicken Cutlet with Curry and Rice

Short-neck Clam Soup with Spaghetti. The soup is totally tasteless when we suspect the salt has increased its price and they can't afford to use it.....LOL

Grilled Scallops & Japanese Mushroom Spicy Pasta. One word to describe it: SPICY at all.

Green Tea of the day

Well, it's kinda disappointed us as the taste were totally go to the opposite side as we expect. It's what we got while dine-in at peak hour....=.=

NO Fishing??? @ Cyberjaya

Fishing is quite cruel for me as we might hurt fishes always. But, it can't be denied that it serves a good result for us as relaxing recreational activities.

Since bf has brought back fishing equipment from his hometown back to Cyberjaya, hence we decided to spend our weekend on this activities instead of shopping or movie.

We started to look for any places available for fishing in Cyberjaya area. And the result is NO~~~

YES, we know that there are several lakes and parks exist in Cyberjaya, but all of them are prohibited from fishing by standing up a stand of 'NO FISHING'.

Why I can't fishing at here??? I want fishing fishing FISHING.....LOL

Noodles Station @ Carrefour Alamanda, Putrajaya

Having a meal serves as normal yet important activity for everyone on the Earth. It can't be doubted that the main reason for our hardworking job related to EAT in order to maintain a healthy body. As our parents always say that:" you have to eat, then only you have energy."

Me and bf are always headache when there is the time for meal. What to eat? Where to eat? I prefer to try out new things no matter what but he will always go for the crowded place only. And end up, he always followed my choice and it were DISASTER (yes, I admit it) some times~

Take the example for today when it's my last day at IBM, and we planned to give a walk at Carrefour Alamanda, which located inside Putrajaya, just for relax.

We have no idea on what should we have for the dinner, neither fancy with fast food nor those big portion western food as I just want to have something light to eat. We have been walking almost the whole shopping complex in searching for our dinner spot, and yet I choose it, Noodle Station.

Bf argued with me that it won't be our taste and delicious for us, by judging at the outside corridor (we haven't ever stepped in yet that time). BUT, as the saying goes that don't judge a book by its cover, I decided to give a try for them *TOTALLY ignore the objection of bf...haha*

I have ordered Ladna Kway Teow with Beef Pastrami, while bf ordered for Tom Yam Fried Rice.

Ladna Kway Teow with Beef Pastrami. What a suck texture of the brown gravy that it's so thick at all~ Due to over-measurement of the starch flour it should take. Suddenly feel that wanna to eat 滑蛋河.*HELP*

No mood to take photo for bf's dinner of Tom Yam Fried Rice as it looks so so only, so does the taste.

Tiny Lemonade Soda as the drink. It's really superb tiny as we ever thought that waiter might took a wrong container for us. Not nice at all, as it taste sweet SWEET sweet after all.

YES, I lose where I should follow bf's words at early by not stepped in this restaurant. BUT, thanks to my curiosity as well, that we finally know this restaurant really tak boleh...=.=....LOL

Doubt that I will pay a second visit to them again in future? As everyone deserve the second chance, maybe.

last day at IBM _ Domino Pizza as the treat

Time really flies fast, it is my last day work in IBM.

I have started to work in IBM at June 2011 where I started my internship at here. My internship falls on the last semester and serves as sole subject for the whole semester, hence I straight away apply for normal job instead of intern based as I no need back to campus after it.

I still remember that I knew nothing when I first came to work. In fact, I not pretty sure about my job scope that time....=.= *Thanks to my senior Peggy Chew who really really taught me a lot patiently, she is the first senior that I ever met and sure I will remember her*

All of the things were just a glance of yesterday. I met my friends and my colleagues at here, and ever at China, Taiwan and Hong Kong where I handle for these countries at most *We have promised to each other to visit our owned countries if possible, and sure I will goes for it*

Last day in IBM, thanks for everyone and everything. And the lunch treat by Yeso, Kennis, and Joanne.

Chicken Pepperoni

Dinner @ 梅林 Merlin Restaurant, Johor

梅林 Merlin Restaurant always serves as our first choice whenever we visit to sis's hostel at Johor. She has been placed in UHTM for further studies right after her STPM, and hence we went there regularly.

Despite of the delicious foods that are offered by the restaurant, the 'strategy' location also contributed and made it became a famous Chinese restaurant at here. The shop is located just besides the roadside, and serve as the SOLE Chinese restaurant in this area.....=.=....Therefore, we have no choice, but have to settle our meal at there......

Well, it's not like we are unwilling to eat at here, but we just wanna to try somethings else sometimes. Frequent visit are not played by us to the same particular place/restaurant regularly, unless there is no other choices or the restaurant do have some special skill that hold our eyeballs. And clearly, 梅林 Merlin Restaurant consists both of the stated factors.

香港蒸石斑尾
Slight over-steamed, but it's still delicious in overall especially the soy sauce. *Thumb Up*

咸蛋苦瓜
Bitter Gourd: my all-time favorite ~

咖喱山猪肉
Surprisingly delicious due to the tenderness of meat have been retained in the curry gravy. We should tabao roti canai and eat with it next time. Haha

Breakfast @ 洪记港式点心

Dim sum will always goes to my dad's mind when we are discussing the venue for breakfast. Sometimes, I just doubt about its deliciousness that can attract so many people in choosing it as their first choice (perhaps?) as breakfast, just because I not so fancy with it in recent days.

I once loved to eat dim sum last times, especially prawn dumplings where fresh whole prawn being wrapped in transparent starch skin. It's simple yet yummy and attract all of us. While fish balls will be commented as 'not-worth' item since it only content starch mostly with little fish meat. It's all used to my best memories as dim sum are pricey usually when compare to other breakfast such as soup noodles or roti bakar. This were all the LOVE shown by our parents towards us when we ate dim sum since our financial condition was not pretty well at childhood.*Love Parent*

But since when this typical breakfast serves no longer as our first choice anymore? Perhaps it's no longer as precious yet delicious as what we have in our memory last time? Or we have the ability in bringing our parents go around for food hunting other breakfast? I think these contribute to it no matter how.

However, we still decided to have dim sum as breakfast at 洪记港式点心 (Taman Connought brach) today before we depart to Johor.

Thai Up! @ The Gardens Mid Valley

Assalamualaikum dan Selamat Pagi~

Yow's 3 golden flowers are Malay girls today as we head to our cousin's wedding ceremony~

A glance in the ceremony

Semoga dalam keadaan sihat sejahtera and bahagia selamat (Hope that it's correct...LOL)

We have headed to Mid Valley for jalan-jalan as the time still early after the wedding ceremony. There is an relatively small IT exhibition at that day, and sis's bf has bought an external charger for his Galaxy Notes while we 3 siblings bought nothing but just window shopping.

The fun thing were almost everyone put a glance on us, and ever some of them spoke in Malay with me since we are wearing Malay costume all the way around in shopping complex. And, I know I am tan in skin tone, so please don't ask me again (YES, it's only me kena) that am I Malay or mixed??? *Not racial discrimination but just my Malay was very lousy and not used to communicate in it*

Now only we realize that it is unusual in wearing such tradition costume in shopping mall....LOL

There are crowded at everywhere in Mid Valley as today is Saturday. We couldn't ever find a place to dinner without queue. And since we have to wait no matter which restaurant we choose, hence we decided each of us choose one and then line for it. Sis and her's bf have chosen 鼎泰豐 Din Tai Fung, younger sis stood for Thai Up! as it seems like no much people are queuing at there, and I choose Hokkaido Ichiban. The rules was whatever which line is the fastest move, then we eat the one.

And finally we end up our dinner at Thai Up!, which is a Thai casual dining place.

While waiting for our meals to be served, my younger sis has started to crave for fried oyster omelette a.k.a O-Chien. (As we just can't wait to eat cause we are damn hungry)

Bought from Oyster King which just right besides us

While we are eating the O-Chien, our meals are served finally.

Sum Tum Spicy Papaya Salad

Summer Fresh Spring Rolls

Special Mixed Rice with Grilled Seafood in Spicy Basil Sauce

Tom Yum Soup Noodles

Special Mixed Rice with Grilled Chicken in Green Curry Gravy

My Thai Style Chicken Soup Noodles. Having diarrhea at morning, hence it is the only one I can eat...=.=

Manggo Sticky Rice

Overall, the taste and quality are below average level, perhaps due to public holiday and it has many customers to serve. Again, don't think that we will come for second time in short future.

Thanks for the treat~ Terima-kasih banyak-banyak~
LOL....looks at his stomach....=.=
