brunch @ Fougasse Boulangerie & Pattiserie, Pandan Indah

Having brunch with my forex parther, Nicole, at Fougasse Boulangerie & Pattiserie today. There is no crowd appear in the cafe since it is normal working day (Thursday) today. BUT, we still fail to find any seats in it, and hence we had to have our meal by sitting outside.

Fougasse belongs to the famous bakery in town, which is Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie Sdn Bhd (YES, you are absolutely right. It is the lovely bakery that sold delicious pastries nearby KLCC). With the meaning of bread in French language, Fougasse sold variety of breads, pastries, cakes and light meals.

The soft opening had been held at Monday (22th Oct), and it was not pretty well-known by others since it was working day too. Hence, they are running 20% discount for anythings ordered/purchased until the end of this month.

We planned to order spaghetti actually since it looks really great from the menu. But, we were being told that spaghetti only will be served after 11am and hence we only can choose from the breakfast section.*We are early bird, I know it. Haha*

Nicole has ordered Morning Plates with Scrambled Egg for her brunch. The portion was totally big and you are guaranteed will be full after finish this plate. Yet, it is delicious as according to her, especially the salad as she not fancy with uncooked vege actually.

I have taken a Ham & Egg Sandwich since I have no idea what to eat, and their sandwich looks great. Besides, I have taken Green Salad as my side dish as well, just in case the sandwich can't really full for my big appetite cause I was really hungry at morning.

I am a big lover for egg sandwich actually, and this sandwich really goes to my taste. The mustard sauce was just nicely to be put in between of hard-boiled egg and ham, make it taste super delicious~ Not to forgot of the Green Salad that the vege was so fresh. The avocado just ripe nicely and hence it taste no bitter at all, same goes to the little black olive in the bowl.

Well, it's totally out of my expectation that we are so full and satisfy for the brunch today. Both of us almost can't finish our own portion as it really big for us. *Thumb Up for the FOOD*

RM2 Sushi King Bonanza @ One U

YES~ The RM2 Sushi King Bonanza has been brought back again all the way from our lovely Sushi King Group (I personally seldom go to Sushi King for have a meal at normal day since it's not so attractive as compare to other Japanese Restaurant. Sorry for the hard feeling if it caused.)

Well, I have been hearing so many times of my friends taking on how many plates they gonna to eat at this wonderful festival, but yet I never go for it so far because I didn't have its member card in fact...=.=

So I begged to my sis for a treat after I know the bonanza has come to the corner, and YES she go for it~

There are total of 4 of us, including of her bf and her bf's mum, which came from Sarawak. We decided to go for One Utama at weekday (YES, I am freaky free and poor since I'm jobless currently) in order to have a walk after eat.

It's really very little of people at there since it is normal working day, and we don't ever need to Q for the meal.

Final Result: Total of 36 plates for 4 of us, where each of us not ever able to consume for 10 plates.

Really wonder and doubt that how my sis's bf going to eat up to 72 plates personally when he told me......hmmm......

Regret that I didn't call my IBM ex-colleague, Chia Yi who was working at IBM Plaza Bandar Utama to dinner cause I really still super duper full at that time....>.<

After Convo

We received 4 bundles of fresh flowers, including one bundle of it is chocolate actually. It is happy to have flower in our convo where we take picture with it, BUT, what should we suppose to do with those flowers after convo???

Should we just throw it into bin? I think I can't do it, since the flowers still nice and yet, there are NOT CHEAP at all~~~

4 bundles of flowers on my hand, BUT, it was only one was mine, the rest were bf......*sob sob, he get more than me*

Good for this one as we no need to think of how to settle it....Haha....there are just merely chocolate, chocolate and CHOCOLATE.....lol

Can't bear to throw it as the roses were so beautiful, so does the cutie bear

Same goes to this one, although it has started to wilt.

Finally, it's my sunflower bundle with nerd looked money.*LOVE IT SO MUCH*

How nice and strong of the sunflower ever it has been holding by us all around to take photo under sun, but yet, it still blossom nicely.

So finally, we decided to take an recycle bottle to place all of these roses since we didn't have vase.

tata~

Apple Cupcake @ home

It's baking day again today~

Since there are quite a lot of apples in fridge, hence I decide to bake apple cupcake today.  Sounds weird, but taste nice *卖花赞花香* haha

Ingredient:
250g Low Protein Flour
2 Green Apples
180g Sugar
100g Butter (room temperature)
1 teaspoon of Natrium Soda Powder
1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
1 teaspoon of Tartar Cream
4 Eggs (room temperature)
A bunch of Salt

1) Peel all the apples and cut into slices.
2) Cook the apples slices with 120g of sugar, slowly add in water so that it become thick syrup.
3) Separate all egg yolk and egg white, and set aside. Preheat oven.
3) Mix all the dried ingredient (except for cream of tartar), together with butter, egg yolk, and the cooked apples with syrup.
4) Beat the egg white until it become foamy. Add in cream of tartar and the rest of sugar.
5) Gently mix the egg white with (3) by using spatula so that the air inside it will hold the fluffy texture for the cake.
6) Place the mixture into cup and put it into preheated oven. Bake for 190 degree Celsius for the first 15 minutes, then change to 160 degree Celsius until it done.

Apple cupcake done by playing masak skill....LOL
