Beau SHEE.MEI: Umaiya @ Puchong IOI Boulevard

Umaiya! Finally we make it!

Have been saying for quite some times that I wanna to try out Umaiya after hearing their good feedback from people surrounding me, but yet I haven't pay any action. We went to Umaiya at Damasara branch for a couple weeks ago, but being told that it was full and we can't dine-in as we didn't made any reservation. Then we turned to Puchong branch at the next day for the urge to try, but we still faced the same situation that we have to reserve our seat before we come, else it's only left for ala-carte serving.

And today, we visit Umaiya for the third time, and finally we made it, with reservation of cause!

Tako Shashimi (Raw Octopus Slices)

A good try for those who dare no try to eat shashimi as it taste no fishy at all!

Tako Su (Cucumber and Octopus Vinegared Dishes)

A tiny appetizer to wake up our stomach.

Hamaguri Miso Soup (Japanese Bean Paste Soup with Clam)

Zaru Soba (Buckwheat Noodles)

A cold-serving noodles. Taste slightly over salty.

Edamame (Boiled Green Soya Beans with Salt)

Our favorite of the day that we have kept on ordering this little beans as our snack!

Kaki Tofu Fried (Deep-fried Beancurd with Oyster Filling)

Taste juicy yet not fishy for the oyster filling!

Soft Shell Crab Age

Tempura Mori (Assorted Deep-fried Vegetables with Prawn)

Surprisingly taste not oily at all~

Beef Toaban Teppan (Stir-fried Beef Cubes with Toaban Sauce)

Not really fancy as the beef taste not tender at all.

Itako Kyuli (Seasonaed Baby Octopus with Cucumber)

It will be better if the sauce not so much.

Chawan Mushi (Japanese Steamed Egg)

Taste superb for this!

Tori Katsu (Deep-fried Chicken with Bread Crumbs)

Doubt that do we order for this one? Anyway, we just have it as it served.

Saba Shioyaki (Grilled Mackerel Fish)

Sizzling Salmon

Fried salmon slices on hot pan, topped with hot and spicy sauce. Not really like this one as it taste too spicy for me until I can't really taste the real taste of the fish.

Love these little fish so much!!! Taste not fishy at all! We have ordered for third times and yet still feel crave not enough for it!

Chuka Kurage (Seasoned Jelly Fish)

Wonder that is it raw or cooked? haha

Wasabi Ice-Cream

Really being cheated by it's appearance as it looks plain and taste not spicy at all at first. The taste popped out at the moment when we swallowed the ice-cream with sudden, but not gradually. =.=!!!
