Pre-celebrated Father's Day Dinner @ 三友酒家 [沙登] Restaurant Sam You, Serdang

HAPPY FATHER's DAY~~~

hmmm....I know it's not the exact day for Father's Day yet, but we still celebrate it by dine-in in Restaurant Sam You, because MAKAN NEEDS NO REASON~~~

Restaurant Sam You perhaps is the restaurant that we visited mostly in Serdang when my father fetch me back to Cyberjaya. It is actually discovered by him when he was being invited for a wedding/full-moon dinner (forgot already which one should be) by his friend for couple years ago.We all like the cooking and dishes at there as it's always go to our taste, where my dad is quite choosy in food actually....=.=

Guinness in Carlsberg glass......LOL

鸳鸯炒饭
A special fried rice that mixed with normal plain rice and brown rice (unpolished rice).  The tenderness of plain rice and the chewiness of brown rice have made this fried rice becomes incredible delicious~

清炒青龙菜
Hot order of some restaurant in KL recently as it's only can be planted at Cameron so far in Malaysia, as according to the captain who took order for us at that night. It looks slightly as garlic chives (or 韭菜 in Chinese), with taste of a bit slippery as compare to other vege. We have tried this vege for several times already at here, or other restaurant, and we still ordered it when we know that it is available for tonight. YES, it's delicious and we love it~

海味煲
Our all-time favor when having meal at here as it's really superb yummy~
The sea cucumber has been braised to soft by adsorbing all the flavor into itself, make it extremely delicious in this dish. As contrast, the abalone has been stewed to tender, while still remain of its chewiness due to its special texture. No to mention about the fish maw which has been simmered together with dried scallop in long times and make this dish finished fantastically. *YUM YUM*

姜蓉蒸鲩鱼
鲩鱼 are usually being steamed in Malaysia as they are served. It is a type of grass carp that mostly being cultivated in ponds, lakes, or river instead of salted water like sea. Hence, the fish is recommended in steaming always, instead of deep-frying or braising. We have order this fish in ginger paste as usual, and it was just steamed nicely~ no overcooked at all~

奶油明虾
It is special ordered by sis for herself actually as my parents can't take in many prawn....=.=
YUMMY~

Fruit Place for FREE~
We have dined-in so many times until the captain at there already recognized us and treat us fruit plate every time. *THANK Q so muchie*

Nedeje's Mille Crepes @ HALF Day Melaka Trip

It's neither public holiday nor any special date for us, but yet we still plan to spend our weekend at Melaka. Depart from Cyberjaya, where bf's siblings come to join us from Sunway.

In fact, it's not a whole day trip to Melaka actually, where bf need to work for half day in Saturday and hence we only depart at 3 o'clock something...=.=

Nedeje's Mille Crepes perhaps is the must-have item for anyone who visit Melaka, and the same goes to us. This time, we decided to pay a visit to its headquarter, which located at Plaza Mahkota instead of Mahkora Parade that I usually went. Being hear of the unfriendliness of the staff from Nedeje for long times, especially during peak season such as public holiday and weekend.

We didn't ordered much, but just 2 slices of crepes to be shared among 4 of us as we planned to have dinner afterwards. *In fact, we reached there at late evening so we have to rushed up a bit*

Strawberry Chocolate Mille Crepe

Original Mille Crepe. Perhaps this is the most popular among other flavors as it always selling fast.

We both look tired ....=.=

After finish all the crepes at Nedeje, we straight away drove to town for our satay celup. *Hurry Up~ As it's going to be a long Q for the famous Capitol Satay Celup*.

I was like "OMG....we are late....=.=" when I saw the long LONG long queue in front of the satay celup restaurant, and long along until it reach the bottom of street!

It definitely is the longest and craziest satay celup Q that I have seen ever. I can't believe that we have to queue for that line and wait of countless hours for it as we was quite behind of the queue actually....=.= What is the amazing attraction of Capitol satay celup that make such many people are willing to queue for it just to taste? I don't know, instead I just know that I was damn hungry at that time.

We tried to queue in the line, by paying a wish that it will be our turn as soon as possible, perhaps the people in front gave up in queuing and we can move ahead faster??? *DAY DREAM-ing*

After we have lined up for half an hour, approximately I guess, we finally gave up in continuing queue for it. We turn to another satay celup shop which is located just the same row of Capitol, and EAT!

Take whatever you want to eat and vege is a must!

Then wait for the satay broth to be boiled and then you can start to put in!

Time to eat!

Finished and time to pay the bill....=.=

The line is still there when we stepped out from the shop, and it's not ever being moved ahead so much. The couple who queued in front of us just now are still in the line, and they probably didn't move ahead much actually! Luckily we didn't insist on queuing just now, if not I guess I will faint...=.=

Lesson learnt, be as early as possible or else, you just have to waste your time in queuing with you empty stomach. *Hear that they open at 5pm usually, and hence we plan to queue at 5pm next time where it just the right time*

We went to Joker Street for a walk where there are having night market usually at weekends. The street serves as the main street of China Town along with antique shops at both side of it. And it is always crowded...=.=.....I think we just barely to have its quiet time at day time weekdays.

Long time no see. How are you, 荷兰水? Haha

Twisted Deep-Fried whole Potato. Not really fancy with it as it not so crunch as potato chips.

Mini Ice Blended in Ball Shaped Container (Lycee and Passion Fruits Flavor). Such a nice cold thing to cure our thirst in this hot night.

Smelly Tofu. Not really fancy with it especially know the making procedure of it....=.=

Bf bought these tiny things that it really make my childhood's memory fresh!
(Rise up your hand if you have played it. Haha)

Dinner @ The Garden, Carrefour Putrajaya Alamanda

There are quite a number of such lifestyle cafe have been built up in recent years, but I never dine in one of them, neither one ever the famous Full House nor The Garden. I always being told that these kind of restaurant/cafe are famous due to its ambiance, not by their food. In fact, the food quality at there are so so only, but not as delicious as what we expected via photo captured/posted.Well, I have no comment on it since I never pay a visit for it. What amazed me was its atmosphere always, and its food picture with description.

It was such a cafe operated in Carrefour Alamanda Putrajaya recently, named The Garden. Me and bf have pay a visit to it for our dinner today as we have no idea what to eat.

Conclusion: Food really so so at all but nothing special....=.=

2011 New Year Eve cum Fen's Birthday @ Little Korea

It's the end of corner for year 2011, sounds very fast, isn't it? Well, the answer is definitely YES for me. I has been working in IBM for 6 months, as continuing from my internship until now. It's feel like just a glace of yesterday that I stepped into formal working society. *TIME PASS*

We have decided to have our dinner at Little Korea at the last day of year 2011, together in celebrating for Fen's birthday. The restaurant serves nice korean cuisine, which is introduced by bf's siblings, and we have no regret to come in~

The ambiance of here is quite nice that it is full of korean atmosphere, in term of their decoration, and yet owners and customers.

We have ordered original pork belly set and marinated pork belly set as the main course of the day.

The pork belly are fatty, and yet delicious. Surprisingly, I didn't remove the fat off from the pork belly, and it's didn't make me feel guilty of eating it at that time (but regret afterwards...=.=).

As we all know, side dishes serve as another attraction point for us when we dine for any korean cuisine, so does here~

Marinated Cucumbers and Carrot Slice serve in cold

Kimchi

Garlic Slices and Bean Paste are must-item especially when we are having Korean BBQ.

Lettuce, perhaps to avoid we are getting into sick by consuming too much of char-grilled hot stuffs, and reduce the greasy taste of the fat pork belly.

No really sure on what kind of vege it is, but it's not our favorite...=.=

Sweet Corn in cream and bacon bites

Steamed Egg. Thumb up for this as it's really nice (BUT, not when it cold).

Marinated Lettuce

Fruit Salad with Penne

Marinated Bamboo Root

Fried Egg Dumpling. Not really fancy with it, as it's a bit oily for it, since I still have to reserve my stomach for the pork belly. :P

Cooked Broccoli and Cauliflower

Apart from it, we do order some other dishes since we are damn hungry at time and afraid that the BBQ set can't feed 4 of us.

Plain Rice

Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup. A bit disappointed for it as the chicken was not served as whole, instead it has been separated in parts. But the taste still OK overall.

My all-time favourite, BiBimBap

Lastly, they did served some fruits and chilled pear juice for us (if I not mistaken) in the sake of reduce the char-grilled taste in our mouth.

Fresh Fruits

Should be pear juice if I not mistaken (correct me if I'm wrong. Haha)

Tata. Here are what we eat...^.^

Hair style of the day: fake short hair.....LOL

Like the most in taking picture with bf, cause it make me looks small as compare to him.....Haha

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Fen~
